There are some Metal-core/Post-Hardcore, Emo/Screamo, Pop-Punk bands out there need to be listened.

Miss May I
Next band I would like to introduce to the world is Miss May I!!
Miss May I is American Metalcore band formed in 2006. But I assume this band is quite new to the audience because the band's first album, Apologies Are For The Weak, was released in 2009, 3 years after they started the band. This band's musical style is like a kid of As I Lay Dying. Their brutal guitar riff, screams like a beast, and Levi Benton's not too high-pitched clean vocal definitely remind me of old As I Lay Dying. But if somebody ask me that "Is MMI sort of wanna-be of AILD?", I would say no. MMI is musically fresher than AILD, and AILD is little more heavy-metal. Anyway whether they are little similar or not, MMI is absolutely one of new hope to all metalcore fan!

Dance Gavin Dance
The fifth band I would like to introduce you is Dance Gavin Dance.
Jonny Craig again! Even if it is ovbious that he is total douche, you have to admit he is extremelly talented as a singer[not as human being]. Dance Gavin Dance is American post-hardcore band formed in 2005. At the very first time the band's lead singer was Jonny Craig, and as you expected Craig was kicked out of band after he joined 2 alubums. The reason this time is the personal conflicts between Craig and the rest of members, in other words his drug addiction finally pissed everybody off.
After his departure, Kurt Travis took his place and the band released 2 alubums. Although the way Kurt Travis sing is not as soulful as J.C., his Anthony Green-ish[former singer of Saosin, current singer of Circa Survive]way of singing gained a reputation. In my opinion, DGD is much better with Kurt Travis considering Jonny Craig's fucked-up stage performances. But unfortunately Kurt left the band and J.C. filled the place again.

Dance Gavin Dance - Tree Village *lead singer-Kurt Travis
I just can't help imaging this guy's face everytime I try listening to the DGD, No Homo!lol
Emarosa
Ladies and gentlemen, May I present, Emarosa!!
I guess I already mentioned about them a few times in the past posts, but please excuse me for introducing this monster band again, I can't help it. Emarosa is American post-hardcore band formed in 2006. As most of you know they became so popullar mostly because of their incredibly talented singer Jonny Craig. His soulful way of singing is definitely one of the kind among the post-hardcore bands.
However, last April the band officially "kicked him out". The reason is quit obvious "Jonny Craig is a d**k", it's been said in some occasions, but this time his extremely drug addiction and scam involved their fan infuriated the rest of members who had been keeping their patience for long time, and 2011, April, he was officially kicked out the band. However, good music is still good music whether the singer is a ex-con or priest. "the artists' personality, appearance and their quality of music is irrelevent" has been my principle for long time. So even if you hate this guy for what he've done, just forget about his personal life once and try listening to their music, because even if he is a total assho** his songs are defnitely worth listening.

Closure In Moscow
The third band I would like to introduce you is Closure In Moscow! Closure in Moscow is Australian progressive rock band formed in 2006. Their musical style is quite unique. High-pitched voice, progressive drum beats, and unpredictable guitar riffs. Some says they are like Chiodos meets Dance Gavin Dance, and some says they are like Saosin meets Emarosa, but in my opinion they are not. It's almost impossible to describe them only in words, you can only listen and understand what I wanted to say. So just enjoy the music and extend your world!!

Deaf Havana
The second band I would like to honorably present is Deaf Havana.
Deaf Havana is British post-hardcore band were formed in 2005. Since the former screamer Ryan Mellor quit the band they are ironically becoming more popullar. The backout of Ryan is little controversial issue, some say they become much better because of his leaving and some quit listening to them because of his leaving. I agree with both of these opinions, the part of me think his leaving made the band little pop-punkish, but also the fact James Amadeus Veck-Gilodi, the front man of the band, gained the oppotunity of singing is definitely benefit to the band. and like I said, Deaf Havana's significant feature is definitely James's skill as singer, his soulful singing style reminds me of Jonny Craig, who is the lead singer of Dance Gavin Dance and sometimes considerd as a best singer of all post-hardcore bands.
And here is my question out of curiosity, Do you like them with or without a screamer?

Alexisonfire
Now I would like to introduce my favorite band, Alexisonfire!
Alexisonfire is Canadian post-hardcore band. Brutal Screams, unforgettable riffs, punkish drum beats and beautiful melody comes from Dallas Green, the front man of the band. When all these things come together, the band become so original and so awesome. Although I called them post-hardcore band in the first sentence, it is quite tough to categorize them into the genres exist in 2011 because of their originality. Just like one of their song goes "We are the sound, we don't belong", it is quite possible that they are making new genre, and actually some of the new bands began to imitate their style including Dallas Green's singing style. We Are The Ocean could be the one of those followers.
Alexisonfire-This Could Be Anywhere In This World
The First Post.
Katherine Anne Porter said 'There seems to be a kind of order in the universe in the movement of the stars and the turning of the Earth and the changing of the seasons. But human life is almost pure chaos. Everyone takes his stance, asserts his own right and feelings, mistaking the motives of others, and his own.'"
When I found this quote in one of the episodes from American TV show called "One Tree Hill", I was so impressed by the words and I couldn't help thinking about this for days. Despite of the fact that I had no idea who the hell is this Katherine Anne Porter[I still don't BTW.] and I didn't even like this TV show very much, It was like, instead of me someone expressed the thought I've been having so long time, and I really liked it and named my blog "Almost Pure Chaos".
As she said, human life is almost pure chaose, and what human create is also almost pure chaose, such as music. People create new music every day, and how we make our own music or how we sing the songs are definitely up to ourselves, some scream, some growl, and some squeal like a pig. Do you think people in 1980's ever imagined their future generation create such a music? Probably no, cuz music is total freedom and thats why it's almost pure chaos.
In this blog I will mostly write about music or movie that I want to share with rest of the people in the world. Hope you like it! and hope you subscribe it!
